Art in the Park at Weir Farm

Please join us Friday, August 25th, 2017 at the Art in the Park Festival being hosted by the Weir Farm National Historic Site, the Friends of Weir Farm, and the Weir Farm Art Centerin Wilton, CT.

The event will include art demonstrations, activity stations, free-to-use art supplies, refreshments, and more!

Free transportation will be provided from our office in the Arcade Mall in downtown Bridgeport. We will leave downtown Bridgeport at 11 am and be back in Bridgeport around 6:15 pm.

Spacing on the bus is limited so if you'd like to join, please let us know by filling out the form below.

All visitors will have the opportunity to create works of art and enter the contest by displaying their work in an on-site exhibition. Following the festival, all contest entries are eligible to be part of an exhibit at the G&B Cultural Center for the month of September and have their work seen in the community all month!

The park welcomes artists, neighbors, national park lovers, and visitors of all ages and experience levels to create Art in the Park during this free day-long event.

Art supplies and activity stations will be available throughout the day, and demonstration sessions will take place in the afternoon. Between 1:00 and 4:00 Master Impressionist Instructor Dmitri Wright will lead demonstrations and there will be an open house at the historic Weir House with piano music! Artists can create, submit, and display works all day.
