Volunteer to help with mulching, staking, light pruning, and weeding of invasive species for the newly planted trees at Beardsley Park on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. No experience necessary! All tools and equipment provided.

Background

Beardsley Park is a 125-acre public green space in North Bridgeport designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Groundwork Bridgeport and volunteers planted trees at the south side of the park that are in need of routine care and maintenance.
