Five Groundwork Trusts were awarded an inaugural Land Use Innovation Grant to transform brownfields into community assets. As one of the Land Use Innovation Fund Grant Recipients, Groundwork Bridgeport’s project: Sliver by the River Community Outreach is to receive $20,075 to collect community input on a waterfront activation plan for a large, coastal, publicly owned brownfield site, Sliver by the River. This will provide a critical opportunity for residents to inform the ongoing waterfront revitalization efforts.
